Zuerst zu meiner Wohnsituation: Ich wohne im 3. Stock direkt an einer viel befahrenen Verkehrsstraße mit S-Bahnhaltestelle direkt vor der Haustür.
In der Nach auf Heute:
Ich schlafe friedlich seit einiger Zeit und dann auf einmal: Ein sehr aggressiver, männlicher Schrei, tapsen wie von Schritten und kurz darauf ein weiblicher Schrei... aber nix Freudenschrei - ein ziemlich heftiger Schrei. Vom plötzlichen Adrenalinschub aufgepuscht liege ich still im Bett, die Fenster sind zu, ich habe das ganze über 3 Stöcke durch geschlossene Fenster gehört und gedacht da bringt bei mir im Schlafzimmer jetzt jemand jemanden um. Nunja, ich liege also da..., wach... war alles nur geträumt? Und auf einmal ein weiterer Frauzenschrei, richtig langgezogen... wieder wie in Schmerz... danach Ruhe. Ich stehe auf, öffne den Rolladen... soll ich die Polizei rufen? Schaue nach unten... nix zu sehen... nur ein paar Personen verstreut auf den Straßen... nun... was tun?
Ich entschließe mich dazu aufs Klo zu gehen und wieder zu schlafen. Was soll ich denn schlaftrunken der Polizei erzählen? Von den Leuten auf der Straße hat sicher jemand mehr mitbekommen. Vielleicht war es nur ein Radfahrer, der von hinten ein Mädchen übelst erschrocken hat und die so nen Schreikrampf bekommen hat. Ich beschließe auch, Morgen die Zeitungen und Internet nach Nachrichten zu durchsuchen, die etwas damit zu tun haben könnten.
Zurück im Bett kann ich natürlich nicht schlafen... für eine graume Zeit. Irgendwann schlafe ich ein, stehe wie geplant auf, bin totmüde und seh noch schlimmer aus als sonst, als ich mir den Weg zur Arbeitstelle bahne... in der Zeitung nix gefunden. zum glück. wahrscheinlich nur scheiß kiddies, die mir den schlaf rauben. bin also doch ein dorfjunge...

“Luckily, these waves are far smaller than the agency’s forecast,” said Kazuaki Ito, director of the Information Institute of Disaster Prevention, a Tokyo-based non-profit group that advises on natural disasters.
The tsunami warning was lifted in Hawaii on late Saturday after waves of about 1.5 meters were sighted, without any apparent damage. Beaches were briefly cleared of swimmers, and tourists were sent to upper floors of hotels. But nations further west left their alerts in place for much of Sunday, even after waves proved small, in case of additional tsunamis triggered by the huge Chilean temblor.
Nations took the warning seriously in a region where raw memories remain of the deadly December 2004 tsunami in the neighboring Indian Ocean that killed nearly 230,000 people in 14 countries.
Some of the biggest preparations were taken by Japan, where meteorological agency officials issued the nation’s first major tsunami warning in 17 years. They initially said they expected walls of water up to 3 meters, or 9 feet, high.
In Tokyo, train lines and highways in densely populated areas along the edge of Tokyo Bay were stopped for hours. Television news programs showed elderly residents in Iwate prefecture sitting on blankets in school gyms that had been turned into makeshift shelters. In the hilly port city of Hakodate, on the northernmost island of Hokkaido, residents sat on hilltops for hours on Sunday watching the sea.[/quote]
